This class is specifically designed to meet the needs of all students in a safe, and suportive environment. The classroom is a place of growth, development, challenge, and encouragement. It is also a supportive community where we treat each other with mutual respect. I believe that every student has the right and ability to learn, but not every child will learn in the same way or at the same pace. My goal is to adapt the curriculum to support and challenge all students to reach their full potential. The students will be building upon prior knowledge, as well as learning new skills and strategies to help them in all content areas. We will use a multi-sensory, hands- on approach in both Language Arts and Mathematics in order to accomodate all learning styles.
