Kindergarten students are making gains and are able to read short phrases and sentences. We continue to practice our handwriting skills daily.    
 In math, students are presently working on number identification of numbers from 10-20.   They have been introduced to the penny and nickel and will continue this area of study after the new year.

Kindergarten is such a busy year and the skills students learn are amazing.  It is important that they receive daily reinforcement in all the areas of develolpment- we practice tracking, matching and classifying objects, identifying opposites, visual discrimination, sequencing and a variety of other skills to help students succeed in school.
