Current Unit Activities

Light Investigations    (May, June)

Students will learn about light's properties and how they have been harnessed by man to perform useful and essential work. We will conduct hands-on experiments to explore how light can be manipulated and how it is that the eye can perceive light.  This unit will culminate in a trip to the Meadowlands where we will learn how light is used to study the stars.
