Who Must Take the End of Course Algebra I Test?
• All New Jersey public school students, regardless of grade level, who are enrolled in an
Algebra I course or its equivalent any time during the 2009-2010 school year, must take
the End of Course Algebra I Test.
• Districts are advised to align their Algebra I course offerings with the
New Jersey/Achieve High School Algebra I Syllabus. The syllabus and related
