Happenings

  Mrs. A's first graders are doing so well with their reading.  Please keep practicing those word wall words at home.  Make flash cards if you can!  They show up in our reading ALL the time!!!

In Math, we are working on subtraction facts, including subtraction combinations. Please keep practicing addition facts at home.

In Science we are learning all about changes that happen when Fall arrives.  We are exploring and writing about pumpkins.  Check out our great pumpkin stories on the Classroom Links page!

In Social Studies we are learning about the need for rules at school, home and in our community.
